This is the first CD from Phoebes Dough, comprised of Diane Epstein-Porter and Ken Porter, who hail from Los Angeles and Michigan, respectively. They currently live in San Francisco, where they have resided for the past 15 or so years. As with their second outing "Angus Circle," "Draco Way" weaves intimate portraits and observations of life's beautiful, if sometimes fragmented, tale, informed by strong songwriting and a Detroit-rock- meets-New York-vibe guitar driven urgency and pulse, coated with a California dream-landscape sensibility.
