Barron J. Peeler who hails from Southern California, has taken his musical talent to new heights in the Lord. His unique voice carries smooth, sweet melodies which soothe the soul and inspire the heart.
Barron captivated the audience and Dr. Bobby Jones during his command performance at the Disneyland taping of the national aired Bobby Jones Gospel Show. He has been blessed to share the stage with many gospel artist such as; the late James Cleveland, Chante Moore, Clifton Davis Larnell Harris, Walter Arties, Daryl Coley, Take 6, Richard Smallwood Singers, Brian McKnight, Shirley Caesar, Whintley Phipps, Little Richard, Walter Hawkins and the Family, Mervyn Warren, and Tramaine Hawkins. He has performed with Bern Nadette Stanis "Good Times" and Loretta Jean "Speed" in the hit gospel play "Only The Righteous" and portrayed the lead role of Lucifer in the gospel-opera musical play "The Great Controversy."
He has performed throughout virtually every state in North America. Internationally, Barron has been the featured musical artist in Africa, Bermuda, England, and the Philippines. He has been invited to share his musical gift in Australia, Japan, Holland and Jamaica.
Barron completed has undergraduate work at Loma Linda University where he majored in Health Science. He has also received a Masters in Public Health at San Diego State University. Barron preaches "We can accomplish and overcome all things through Christ who strengthens us if we just keep Pressing On towards the mark of what the Lord has called us to do." Thus, the anointed "Pressin On" was produced.
In addition to the CD, a music video of Track #3 "Lovely Day" featuring a cameo appearance by Little Richard is presently being aired on BET Gospel video. In addition, Barron's sophmore album entitled "Journey of Life" will be released this spring. Sherry, and Mark and Joey Kibble of Take 6, Madison Mission Choral, Wayne and Lynne Lynsey, Another Peace, and Lisa Robinson-Vaughn are examples of a few anointed gifts featured on this long anticipated project.
