Travelling Wilbury's reunited?
Good feel overall. The one lead guitar is a little bright and has a bit of a harsh edge to it. The Vocals remind me of John Lennon or George Harrison or Jeff Lynn. The performance of the song is tight and well arranged. I would say that the production overall is also quite well done.

It's a great tune!

Great Voice
I really liked the lead vocal. He has a very unique sound. The harmony was very good. The production was clear and the guitars sounded professional - nice stereo effects, but a little too loud for the vocals.

such a sad song
The singer reminds me of Dylan in a way. The vocals are good and fit the song well. The lyrics are good as well.
The intro guitar sound is great. I really like that sound. The instrumental breaks are well placed and add a nice element to the song. The sax was a bit unexpected, but adds another twist to the song and is quite pleasing adding to the overall effort.

Great production
I love the drum sound on this song. Very tight sounding. The singer really sets the mood with his raspy voice. Fantastic backing vocals. I'd like to hear a bit more of a hook in all honesty but this is really strong.

Review of "THE SUMMER'S GONE"

'Bob Dylan's dancing'
Dylanesque quality to the vocal and instrumentation, especially the harp coming in right on cue. Very attractive sound, band locked in pretty tight, bright guitars a la Byrds or Tom Petty, effective for the tune. Lyrics like 'I feel I can walk on the water,' and 'I've been sad I've been blue,' and 'give my soul to a friend,' very quality. Song has a breadth and depth and comfort zone that is exceptional. Hook 'all the way with you,' very nice. While the above 'headline' might seem overly playful, I find that intelligence/adventurousness in lyrics is too often shrugged off as 'Dylanesque' or what not. I hear this tune as being original, and though Dylan seems an influence, I don't hear this tune being derivative. I hear a growth and evolution, and will give it extra points for being 'original.' Studying and being influenced by 'the masters' (you know Picasso in the arts, Agassi in tennis, Nuryev in ballet, the Beatles or Dylan in rock music) is not a negative, to the contrary, if the influence is assimilated successfully, becomes part of the creative process, my humble view.

Feelin' The Good Times!
This song takes me back to the Tom Petty days, when rock felt good. It's definetly a slow-jammin' feel-good song. The band seems tight, everything in the mix seems panned excelently. The singers vocals are very unique, kind of untrained, but that can be a good thing. Good job guys, and best of luck!
