The band released their first independent CD in 1997 entitled Hate You (JBB Songs) and a three-song demo CD in 2000. The hard-working Cremains were also awarded a âBest of Phoenixâ honor in 2001 by The New Times were featured in the Arizona Republic in April 2002 and included in the December 2006 issue of Guitar World.
The host of Below the Bass on KUPD, said that The Cremains put on âan amazing set.â Fans adore their singular sound, live energy and respect for their Native roots, which makes them one of the most unique Native performances in the Southwest to see. They have also released Sacred Stage; a collaboration with the Navajo songwriter James Bilagody (Canyon Records) in 2004.
