Electronic spacerock
11 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Ambient, ROCK: Instrumental Rock
Details:
Audio Imagery is the recording and performance vehicle for composer/bassist Jon Clark and "Chemical Realignment" is his debut recording. His style incorporates a balance of intensity, complexity, and beauty.
Jon Clark began studying the upright bass at the age of ten and played in a number of different orchestras throughout high school. He went on to study electric jazz bass in college where he also earned a B.S. in electrical engineering. His influences are wide ranging and include the likes of Frank Zappa, Les Claypool, Squarepusher and Pink Floyd. He owns an impressive array of instruments and a studio with a fully loaded Pro Tools rig as the centerpiece.
With "free" studio time Jon has the luxury of editing and mixing until he feels a particular piece can go no further. Some drum tracks on the album have literally thousands of edits while some songs have been mixed hundreds of times. This album displays his dedication to music reflects his talents as a composer, bassist, and engineer.
