Music has always been an important part of Maria Calfa-DePaul's life and she always found it to be an amazing elixir. "It cuts through any barrier and heals many wounds".
Maria has been playing guitar and writing songs since she was fifteen. Singing the songs she writes was always an important way for her to express herself but her passion was cut short for 8 years because of a cyst that developed on her vocal cords.
"My life changed again one year ago when the cyst was successfully removed and my singing voice was completely restored. I began working on this CD in December of 2005 and I have been performing every chance I get".
