Plans for this project began to unravel in the summer of 2010 when I first heard this song that was the brain child of my long time friend, Marty Williams. I told him, if I could change a few lines, here and there, I might consider cutting the song. I worked several weeks writing and re-writing until I got âThe Stimulus Packageâ to where I started having a vision of it being the title of my next CD release.

I also completed writing a Christmas song that I started writing in the â90âs called âThe Reason for it Allâ. There were a couple other songs that I tried to write in the â90âs as country love songs but just never made it as such. I let the Holy Spirit take over, as I got a new concept on âTraces of Your Loveâ and âIn Your Armsâ. The âIn Your Armsâ was inspired by a serious illness that Iâm currently fighting. Iâll have to admit, it felt weird singing about my illness but when I heard it played back, it didnât seem personal at all. My thoughts were, a lot of people could relate to this song.

The Holy Spirit lead me, to choosing some of the other songs I chose for this album. This offering opens with the Woody Guthrie song, âThis Land is Your Landâ. Although it isnât a gospel song, I though it was a good way to start, âThe Stimulus Packageâ because the title song is the solution to saving America. âHow Great Thou Artâ was chosen because it shows how awesome God is.

I hope you enjoy the music on this CD and itâs my prayer, a lot of people will be blessed by it in someway.
