Adrian Baker and Mike Love take little liberties with the arrangements and make these classics a bit more contemporary. The title song, "California Girls" is a spot-on rendition with Love's signature lead vocal. Hawaii is a standout with rockin' drums by drummer Bo Fox from Papa Doo Run Run and a vocal harmony break that the band now uses in concert.
"Don't Worry Baby," Adrian's signature concert song while performing as a Beach Boys band member (1981 - 2004,) is a classic on it's own. "Good Vibrations" has the exact haunting sound as the original, thanks in part to (the late) Mike Meros on organ playing and Love's vocals. All in all, this collection is Fun,Fun, Fun!
