I went through some hard times and God brought me out of the trials and junk, so this is a story of some of those times.
I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi in the church scene. When my parents and I got called to Colorado I had no Idea what was
in store for me over the next few years - huge lifestyle changes that went from sweet tea and catfish to ski country and a culture of drugs and hardship. This is where my story begins.

This project has been on my heart for years. I started writing these songs in late 2006. A short time later I met Josh Caldwell, who happened to be a very talented musician himself, so we collaborated and came up with some great stuff in the basement of our church. Those were great times and I am excited to finally share these moments with you...... Thanks, Brett
