Pure Country is great original country, recorded in Nashville Tennessee by Billy Beam and special guest Marcia Beam.
5 MP3 Songs in this album (19:03) !
Related styles: Country: Traditional Country, Country: Modern Country, Solo Male Artist
People who are interested in Merle Haggard Shania Twain Taylor Swift should consider this download.
Details:
Great playing by Nashville greats Kenny Vaughn, who plays "B bender" on the classic-sounding "Johnny Walker Red", also the somewhat retro sound of lap steel by Grand Ole Opry's Johnny Bellar (Johnny B), longtime touring great with The Stonemans and Wilma Lee Cooper.
Vocals are by Texan Billy Beam, a Nashville insider who tours with a superstar act. (We're not allowed to release his real name for legal reasons - can you guess his actual identity?)
Very enjoyable solid country, from a contemporary "Winds Of Change" (sounds like Taylor Twain) to the Merle Haggard-esque "Johnny Walker Red" and the almost poetic insightful waltz-time "Whiskey And Moonlight". Recorded with warmth by Nashville producer and writer George McClure, whose credits include Pussycat Dolls 2, TNN Network TV, Nashville Tennessean, and "The Ballad Of O.J. Simpson".
