Biography
I use to be in a group of four called 'Tko'. I was making all the beats and coming up with all the hooks/ideas.I ended up being robbed by the same people in my group. They took all of my studio equipment, my keyboard, mixers and recievers, basically the whole nine yards. Everything that i had worked so hard to build and get was gone just like that. They were the last ones at my house before the robbery. For a whole 2 years, i was lost as a artist and i felt that i would never be able to come back. Even though i had no studio, i was still coming out with mixtapes. As a producer, i never liked the idea rapping on other people's instrumentals. But i was so fired up that it didnt matter to me. I made two mixtapes two months apart from each other and i was selling it on campus. Making a mixtape taught me some tricks and challenged me as a rapper. It taught me how to write songs and how my lyrics could survive without my production. My parents had faith in me and they helped me get back on my feet with new and better equipment. I was so angry and frausted that i had to calm myself down to redirect my focus on that hip-hop train i once was on. When i was super focused, I accomplished my first professional album called 'Back from vacation'. I wanted this album to let people know that i was back and serious as ever. I recorded the album in a World class studio in Chicago, Illnois. I feel that Hip-hop has been missing from the scene, so i wanted to bring it back with style. I'm a rapper and a producer so my ears are always working twice as hard when listening to songs. i have to keep both skills balanced all the time, and it comes natural for me.

The first thing folks do when they hear my stage name is confuse it with 'selfish'. I chose Cell-fis because i believe a person is suppose to have one talent. In my case, i have two which makes me a 'selfish' artist. I can produce and write songs. When i write lyrics, i want people to see it then hear it. When i tell stories, i use as much detail as possible. I want to entertain all senses when i write music, and i want people to dance when i produce.
