Details:
Brooklyn-based trio Unbelievable Luck delivers musical good fortune on their new full-length, self-titled album â- available now.

Weaving melodic indie rock with a fresh take on folk narrative, the group presents 12 lush tracks with succinct stories and subtle insights. Their harmonized vocals and dual guitar melodies evoke the loss, love and life present in their lyrics. âRoses,â a moody lament, depicts an aging rock star living the fine line between recluse and reject. âBottle Rocket,â a brooding ballad, chronicles a break up that canât make up. Country-inspired travelogue âMexico Cityâ picks its way through a landscape of heartache and obsession. Infectious pop track âSmall Townsâ teases the tension between the safety and suffocation of never leaving home.

A decade in the making, Unbelievable Luck first met in the rhythm section of their New Jersey high school jazz band. David Fox, Ayan Pal and Ed Hong formed their own group and regaled classmates at basement bashes and student functions, earning coveted ink in the school paper and yearbook. Separated by college, they reunited after graduation in New York and play regular gigs at underground venues such as The Living Room, Peteâs Candy Store, and Southpaw.

This album was recorded in Ayanâs home studio and fueled by countless microwavable sandwiches. By day, Unbelievable Luck are a librarian, an equity trader, and an internet geek.
