Details:
Fresh outta the oven... it's Uncle Moondog's BALONEY CAKE! Uncle Moondog creator, Mike McManus dishes out another delicious disc of ditties for your dining and dancing delight. Whew!
After the critical and public success of the first award-winning "Uncle Moondog" album (plus the fact that he had dozens of 6 year olds threatening to beat him up if he didn't release a new album), Mike locked himself in Shaggy Road Studios and turned the "wacky button" up to 11. The result? A big, ol' whoppin' slice o' funny! Baloney Cake serves up eleven slabs of sing-along silliness with just enough "smarts" to keep the parents amused as well. This album revisits Uncle Moondog and the whole Sunshine Island gang from the first CD, and introduces a new character... Paulie the Walrus!
Like the first Uncle Moondog CD (also available at CD Baby), Mike wrote, performed, and sang all the songs by himself, with his wife Joan contributing some of the weird noises and girlie voices.
So put on your dancin' shoes, grab a cold glass of milk, and dig into BALONEY CAKE. Now that's good eatin'!
