VYASA is a Finnish Composer,Drummer and Ambient Recording artist.
Sadhana is his debut album. Now, how many Ambient recording artist
are there in Finland??? Not too many...laughs...to get recognition
in Finland you have to first be succesful in other countries, before people
here notice that you are doing something...It has always been like that
in the past .
"...If I have to compare Sadhana and Beyond Within( second album) Then I would
say that Sadhana is Perhaps more experimental and introspective album
than Beyond Within, not so accessible and smooth like the second album...
but nevertheless, I´m very fond of it´...and there´s few very kind of surrealistic
moments in the album, like the solos on ´When the ships fly´... you know, Goran
came and slam the hammond solo in few takes, but it took over 260 takes with
5 different guitarist to nail the son of a bitch ( the guitar solo)...laughs...and finally
Tuomo came and impressed me & Aku enough to make the mastertake...
Then there is Lifetrons, Forgotten temple, Anor aniyan that are very important songs for me,
Lifetrons is dedicated to Björk, by the way.. so its very varied stuff...and
if you are in a hurry, you probably cannot dig into the music easily,
so it is adviseable to digest it few songs at the time...
