Psychedelic without being hard to listen to. Modern without thinking too hard about it.
Excellent grooves without being dance music.
8 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Psychedelic, ELECTRONIC: Experimental
Details:
Voyager One returns with a new album Dissolver.
For this record Voyager One consists of founding members Jeramy Koepping and Peter Marchese aided by several shiny machines that light up in interesting ways.
The record was recorded by the duo over nine months of Sundays in the confines of Park studios in Kirkland ,WA
and finds Voyager One again expanding their musical vocabulary in new and interesting directions.
Dissolver features eight new original songs and is slated for release sometime in mid 2005.
Jeramy and Peter are currently rehearsing with a new six-piece line-up.
It's tempting to file the surging drone of Voyager One under the rubric of pschedelia, but that wouldn't do justice to the sprawling vision of guitarist/singer/producer Jeramy Koepping and his band, which recalls an empyrean choir, or perhaps a flock of low-end and effects-pedal-wielding angels brushing your cheek.
- Andrew Lentz, LA WEEKLY
Spacey, ethereal pop...creating a cosmic amalgam full of musical moonbeams...adding a pschedelic flavor to their sonc swirl...Pass the Valium.
