Details:
Sound Traveller Vol. 1

Composer Auralis brilliantly uses the sounds of the full orchestra to describe for us in rich instrumental colours, the countries he has visited on his travels around the world.

In this first of two CD Albums, the composer starts his journey 'Flying Concorde' across the Atlantic for Washington DC, where, in the second track: 'American Pie Saga', we imagine the Boston Tea Party and the American War of Independence.
We then motor on US State Highway: 'Route One California' where we get on the: 'Honky Tonk Cowboy Train' heading for Texas. We sun ourselves on the beaches of: 'Paradise Isles', West Indies then lazily spend our time: 'Drifting' along on the tidal currents on a sailing yacht for Latin America, where in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil we enjoy the party frolics of the: 'Rio Carnival'.
We then finish the first part of our journey and accompany Auralis on Concorde flying to China, where we visit a pagoda on a hill and hear the enchantingly beautiful: 'Peking Cloud Song'. The next part of the journey can be heard on Album Vol. 2.

In this superb album by Auralis, we hear the master of arranging and orchestration at his best.
(Note: Concorde stopped flying the world in 2004)Auralis has also written three other albums: 'Destiny', Sound Traveller Vol. 2', 'The Mood I'm In'.
