Valerie Smith and her band, Liberty Pike have become ambassadors of bluegrass music and have entertained music lovers in New York, London, Berlin, Dublin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and hundreds of other venues throughout the U.S, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Smith has been the recipient of the International Bluegrass Music Association awards and has been nominated for a Grammy Award as part of the Ralph Stanley "Clinch Mountain Sweethearts" project. Valerie has also appeared on the Grand Ole Opry as guest of Hall of Famer, Charlie Louvin. The band released "That's What Love Can Do" a year ago and has scored a top ten on the Bluegrass Unlimited Album Chart and a top ten for the single "In Those Mines".

Valerie has teamed back up producer by Alan OâBryant of the Nashville Bluegrass Band who produced her first two CD's "Patchwork Heart" and "Tutle Wings", for her first All - Gopsel CD "Wash Away Your Troubles" on Bell Buckle Records .
