Vital Support is a high energy blues band that weaves elements of Blues,Soul, and Funk in to their music. Primarily made up of former Carl Weathersby band members. This band is sure to excite blues fans.

10 MP3 Songs
BLUES: Electric Blues, BLUES: Rockin' Blues

Details:
The band's founding members came from the ever popular Carl Weathersby Band (bearing the name Vital Support). As many musicians do, they decided to make a place for themselves in the new blues community. The band had decided it was time to strike out on their own with their own sound!!!

The new band consists of original Vital Support members; Paul Hendricks-Guitar, Skip Gaskin-Bass. The new members are John Williams-Drums. And a tremendous "New Blood" Corey Dennison-Vocals/Guitar.

Reviews

"One of the most potent 4-piece Chicago bands you'll ever hear" "Their Chicago-style blues sounds like they're coming through a massive turbine".
Sharon Schneider, Blues Beat Magazine

Their 41-minute self-titled CD is one of the best debuts of 2005.â âEach of the ten songs has a catchy hook and electrifying guitar.â âThe structure of "Bad Luck Tour"is the bluesiest. Here, the emotions simply spew off Hendricksâ scorching strings.â
Tim Holek, Southwest Blues Magazine

I caught a Vital Support show at Chip's in Winder GA. last night. Those guys Were Awesome! The band was tight and together .Blues, Rock, Funk, and Soul and some honky-tonk mixed in! Great show and I can't wait to see them again! The guitar work was fantastic and the back beat was always on time. The bands footwork and dancing together was the icing on the cake.
