Vie Sans Les Fleur (Life Without Flowers) aka VSLF is the brainchild of Tomas. The Vie Sans Les Fleur Project (VSLF) was created as a way for Tomas to produce and release instrumental music through Tomasian Ent! without using his name and confusing people who may be new to his music.
Tomas had received several music licensing requests in which people wanted to use his music as instrumental background music. Based on these requests, as well as Tomasâ desire to expand te!âs musical catalogue to include instrumental only productions, Vie Sans Les Fleur was born.
The music of Vie Sans Les Fleur is much more experiemental than the club and radio friendly grooves of Tomas. As Tomas states himself, âI would listen to Vie Sans Les Fleur on the radio or in a coffee shop. I donât think Iâd dance to it. Well, maybe some tracks.â
Vie Sans Les Fleurâs first release, Emagine (A World Without Flowers) is an electro-funk fusion drawing upon influences of 80âs artists such as Art of Noise, Kraftwerk and 808 State as well as modern day hit-makers such as Armand Van Helden and Moby.
Tomas, excuse me, Vie Sans Les Fleur is currently in the studio working on VSLFâs follow up release tentatively entitled, ElectroFunkshun. This project is scheduled for release in the spring of 2007.
