We are delighted to introduce you to one of the most exciting, vibrant and versatile bands ever to emerge from BC, Canada. Veltus has been writing and playing together for over two years. The band was formed in December 2003, spending most of their time working on original material. They can credit themselves with playing many different venues in the lower mainland, including Vancouver's Good Times Night Club. Veltus is a band equally proficient at both popular cover material and their trademark, groove filled, original songs. Their talents are wide and varied. You can be listening to Bog 1's sky-sweeping guitar and rhythmic foundation one minute and be grounded by Ryan's melodious bass lines the next. Instrumentally they play guitar, bass, keyboard, bongos, harmonica and drums. Vocally they feature lead and up to three-part harmony. The members of Veltus are ultimate professionals in their performance, their stage presence, and their attitude. Basically they're a pleasant friendly and decent bunch of guys who enjoy what they do, and enjoy an audience doing likewise.
