Verlene Schermer is a hospital musician at Stanford University and El Camino Hospitals in California's San Francisco Bay Area. The music on this CD is a part of her vast repertoire of soothing melodies that she plays on her double-strung Celtic harp for patients, family, and staff. There is over 60 minutes of instrumental music on this CD, followed by a two minute silence, and a bonus "hidden" track featuring the title cut, Wishing You Well, performed with her soothing vocal and double-strung harp. Those who would like to skip the two minute silence and hear the vocal version of "Wishing You Well" can press the forward button on their CD players or go directly to track 18. Those who would like to have only instrumental music can switch to another CD during the silence, or press the forward button twice during the silence after track 17.
