1916 Chinga Drawstring Purse Antique Crochet Pattern

The bag shown was carried out in beautiful colors--navy blue, gold, black, red, green, light blue, light pink, delft blue and rose. The pattern calls for Chinese rings, but various suitable rings are available today at your fabric and hardware stores. The tassel hangs from a crochet covered button mould or button.

This beautiful Titanic Era bag was noted to be popular in 1916. Easy to make, too!
