This old pattern does not indicate size of crochet hook. Material requirements are listed as "32 skeins Shetland floss, 10 yards satin ribbon No. 3 for the yoke, 3 yards satin ribbon No. 40 for the ties, and a lining of China silk." It can be left unlined, of course, if desired.
This republished pattern is in the English language and has been retyped from my old original and proof read by at least two experienced crocheters.
The pattern is in an Adobe pdf file that you can view on a Mac or PC and print with Adobe Reader, which is a free download at www.adobe.com
