ROCK: Hard Rock, ELECTRONIC: Industrial

Details:
Electronic Hard Rock band Vegas In Space began in late 1999 as a small recording project of then 18-Year old Creighton Emrick in Cincinnati, Ohio. Armed with only a four-track recorder, drum machine, guitar, bass, and a mic; Creighton began laying the groundwork for his vision. All that was needed now was the band to bring it to life.

Through a mutual aquantance Creighton met Glitterbug(Dennis Hamlin), an accomplished Guitar Player/Producer and the two hit it off immediately. Creighton then recruited the bass playing talents of long time friend Alexis Cross (Mathew Davish). Although the music was electronic-based the band yearned for the feel and energy of a live drummer. Their search ended with one look at former R&B and Gospel drummer turned human drum machine, Zen(Fransisco Hughes).

Vegas In Space debuted live in 2001, playing shows and building on what would become a large and diverse fan base. In the face of their area's darkly conserative habitat, Vegas In Space went on to perform some of the most shockingly raw and passionate performances the venues had seen. They also started catching radio's ear with College airplay and spot interviews on some of Southwest Ohio's biggest stations.

In early 2002, Vegas In Space felt their next step was to make the over 3000 mile transition from Cincinnati to Hollywood, California. Making their debut April 5th, 2002 to a sold out crowd at the legendary Roxy Theatre, opening for former Marilyn Manson proteges Godhead. With a performance that is still talked about amoungst LA's rock fans, Vegas In Space sent shockwaves through the scene. Winning over crowds in Hollywood's top clubs, Vegas In Space have been catapulted by their sprawling and loyal fanbase to create an undeniable buzz. With the Spring 2003 release of their full-length debut Infinite Infect, and the 2005 release of Love Song For The Sick, Vegas In Space stand confident that what started on a four-track will blossom into a monster.
