Okay, here's the story. Venesa Talor was born and raised on a farm in Barre, Vermont where she was brought up with herds of cows and flocks of Geese. Although she grew up in a small town, Venesa always had the performance craze going on. âI had classical piano training by my Grandfather, Hrant Gregory Minnassian for nine years as a child and realized that I had a gift to play and write music by ear. Although reading music wasn't my thing, I learned to do it anywayâ.


At the ripe age of 18, Vanessa took leave from her small town Barre. âIt seemed like there was no light at the end of the tunnel unless I wanted to settle down and be a normal gal. Being 1st runner-up as Miss Vermont was about as far as I could go there, but I still had a lot of creative oats to sew. I was in a local Rock band called âOutrageâ, but I longed to be a Model and had that âCalifornia Dreamâof making it in Hollywood. Venesa set forth and journeyed west for a month straight, (on foot) and wound up in Anaheim working at Disneyland. âUnfortunately my music was put on hold for a few years while I pursued acting and modeling in L.A. I eventually got some exposure when I posed for the cover of the 96â College Girls Edition of Playboy. I also did some layouts for their Newsstand Specials. Venesa was also a Budweiser girl and posed for a many car magazines.

âThen I got some acting gigs, my first movie I was the lead female alien from another planet in âFemalienâ. It actually did pretty well and they cast me again as the lead in the sequel Femalien 2. Among many other starring roles, in âCitizens of Perpetual Indulgenceâ she was cast to portray the Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor. Playing beautiful starlets seemed to be a natural for Venesa as she was then cast to portray Ava Gardner in the E! True Hollywood Story of Ava Gardner. Venesaâs next film âBloodollsâ, was attached to a music record deal and she had hopes of getting some of her music in the film. âThatâs when I got inspired to write music again. I got a Trinity workstation and took lessons in engineering, so that I could write my own music. As I learned how to engineer sound on this level, a whole arena of music came pouring out of me. It was amazing. It was as if the last 6 years of all my lifeâs experiences were released all at once.


The songs I wrote didnât get into the âBloodollsâ soundtrack, but instead, I it turned into my own Rock Musical called âA Naked Girlâ. Itâs the story of a girl looking for her big break in Hollywood, but winds up in the mire of Hollywood Hell. The music in âA Naked Girlâ was like âThe Rocky Horror Picture Showâ meets âThe Wizard Ozâ. The show premiered in Los Angeles at the Historic âEl Rey Theatreâ for a 7 week run. I had my own set built with an 8 piece live band interpreting my music. It got great reviews, but a lot of criticâs felt it wasnât âmainstreamâ enough. Thatâs okay because Iâm not a mainstream kind of galâ. Venesa then released her first self titled 15 song CD âVenesa Talorâ. She then followed that up with her second CD, âIn the Court of Mistress Vâ. Now the newest and latest...."The Naked Resurrection".
