Non danceable EBM act Vanvård was formed on Visingsö, Sweden in the summer of 2004 by Fredrik Djurfeldt and Ulf Lundblad. Living inside the electro scene for well over a decade and a half both members felt the scene had evolved in a far too logical direction. Order must be replaced by disorder, noise by some other stuff and production should be abolished.
After working together on several projects such as Severe Illusion and Instans they felt it was time for yet another project, and after several weeks of hard work a small but critical step was taken in the evolution of the band. Music had been recorded. From this moment they knew there was no turning back.
The first album from Vanvård, bravely entiteled Liv i vårdens slutskede, is limited to 500 copies and features 12 tracks of electro-industrial minimalism.
