Rock'n'Roll Punxs from Montreal, Canada.
14 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Punk, ROCK: Rockabilly
Details:
Once upon a time, somewhere in the dark back alleys of Montreal, 4 lads formed a punk rock band, originally called: the Bathroom Orkestraw.
In 1989, they released their first self titled demo tape, with 13 original songs recorded on 16 tracks.
Three years later, after Northern Vultures lead guitarist: Fritz, joined them, the band renamed itself:
Vagabonds
In 1993, their second D.I.Y. tape: From autumn to fallâ¦, came out (15 original songs.)
In 1995, they struck back with their first full length C.D. called: Hit the road ;
19 songs for 53 minutes of pure adrenaline fun.
The album was produced by Vagabonds
and Felix "The Cat" Potvin (Yes the NHL goalie!)
and was distributed by Cargo records.
With that album in the can, they went back on the road, from Toronto to Rimouski...
and had the joy of playing with wellknown bands like:
-the Misfits (USA),
-Marky Ramones and the intruders (USA),
-Peter and the test tube babies (UK),
-Stiff Little Fingers (Ireland),
-Molodoï (France),
-the Real McKenzies (euh...Scotland?),
-the Hanson brothers (Canada)
-Grim skunk (Canada),
-Random Killing (Canada),
-Ripcordz (Canada),
-and many many moreâ¦
In 1999, theyâve recorded a new album called: 13 $tepsâ¦
13 brand new songs recorded at Studio Plantes Vertes.
Unfortunately, the band split before releasing the album...
In 2005, the original members of the band reunited for Montrealâs Café Chaos
10th year anniversary, and it was a blast!!!
Today,
Mark (lead vocals, guitar),
Fritz (lead guitar, vocals),
Kevin (bass, vocals),
Johnny (rythm guitar, back vocals), and
Chouby (drums),
are finally releasing their latest album entitled:
13 $teps...
To all our fans and friends, and to all the bands we played with, and the ones who influenced us
troughout the years, we say...
Cheers!!!
Vagabonds are dead, long live Vagabonds!
