Details:
In the fall of 2005, I had a unique opportunity to go to New Orleans and work
as part of the "relief effort". No images on TV, nor any written account could
have conveyed the true magnitude of the disaster I witnessed first-hand. I underwent a personal transformation as I came face to face with this reality.
Songs poured forth as I processed my experiences, exploring the human
frailties, inequities and hopes laid bare by Katrina. After many years of touring
as a bassist and singer with other artists, this is my first release of my own
original material. Songs written in, and about, post-hurricane New Orleans.
A PORTION OF ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO BENEFIT THE VICTIMS OF THE DISASTER
