victorias switchblade on their debut album "By The Wings of a Tragedy" (to be released).
Some call their lyrics phenomenal, others call them psychotic. Whether you
find songs about violence, murder and lost love poetic or not, they
definately catch peoples attention. Bringing hundreds of kids in their
hometown out to shows, victorias switchblade's psychopathic look on love is
definately making a difference in the music industry.
Starting in the summer of '04 things didn't take long to come together for
these boys. They Independantly recorded their first single "Butterflies"
that following November. Quality wasn't on their side at this point, but
determination was. Already by March of 2005 victorias switchblade had been
voted the Top Rated Band on www.supernova.com.
Victorias Switchblade consists of four members, Brody Craddock, Peter
Lee, Zach Bennett and Sean Del Giallo. Blending the dichotomy of metal and screamo this
band manages to keep an intense thick live sound! Their stage presence has also been rated a 10 on more than one occasion playing various battle of the bands throughout Southern Ontario. To date they have played with well known
Canadian bands such as Social Code, Flashlight Brown, Lapidate, Youthinasia and more!
As one of the fastest growing and most entertaining indie bands around, Victorias Swicthblade is quickly making a name for
themselves. Its almost impossible to ignore the uproar of fans this band has established. Basically, there are two kinds of people in this world, the ones who have heard victorias switchblade and the ones who are about to.
