Vision of Unity is a mother-daughter Music Ministry with an original and unique flavor of inspirational music. Singing together since 1998, Vision of Unity composes the music and writes the lyrics for all of their work. They have recorded 3 CDs, and they travel near and far sharing their gift of music. How Excellent was their first project in 1998. It featured 11 very soulful, sacred songs, mostly mellow and meditative. The 2nd CD titled, God's Always Blessing You had more upbeat, joy songs all with an inspiring message of unity and peace. Vision of Unity performs concerts, Festivals, Conferences, Gospel Fests, and Churches. They wow Organizations and groups large and small. Their latest CD, Order My Life is dynamite! The genre is New Thought: the message is Love. Based in Dayton Ohio, this two-generation group is made up of:
Rev. Carol Williamson, an Ordained Interfaith Minister, Licensed Unity Teacher, musician, and songwriter. Carol is a Board Certified Holistic Health Consultant and author of the book, Healing With Spirit: The Natural Way. She is co-founder of the group Vision of Unity. A poet for all of her life, she only began writing inspirational songs in 1997. Carol composes the music and writes the lyrics for most of the songs the group sings. When not singing, Carol teaches workshops, seminars and sees private clients in her Holistic Health Consulting Practice.
Simone Scales is a talented vocalist and songwriter who shares her musical gifts in the Music Department of her Church: she co-directs their Gospel Choir, performs special music with Vision of Unity, and also sings as a solo artist. Simone is the eldest daughter of Carol and has loved singing since childhood. Simone's career is in nursing. She shares her song with residents of Long Term Care Facilities in the Dayton Ohio area. Simone is an outgoing compassionate person and she brings a smile to the faces of all who hear her sing. Simone is the co-founder of Vision Of Unity, their agent and Public Service Coordinator.
