Composer Guitarist Aaron Lewis was born and raised in southern New Mexico. He has performed many varieties of music. Starting out in high school heavy metal bands exploring blues bands in his twenties and currently writing solo compositions with an occasional venture to music from insert name here. His music stems from experimenting and trying to find his own voice as a composer. Exotic scales, odd time signatures, and traditional forms influence his compositions.
He has performed in coffee houses, clubs, recital halls, state fairs, wine festivals and art gallery openings. Enjoying each experience from the wide variety of people that enjoy listening to music. Aaronâs life besides performing include being a husband to artist Paula Manning-Lewis, father to 3 boys, and teacher.
Aaron spends his free time (whatever that is) composing, hiking, raising kids, gardening, cleaning up after dogs, and enjoying time with his wife. He feels the need to share his music with the world now as for a few years he was selfish and kept it to himself. His improvisations are the basis for compositions and are a highlight of performances.
