Details:
Please is a power sextet dedicated to forging forward in time with 20/20 hindsight.

The debut album âBroken Little Songsâ is a powerful, emotional, heart expanding experience in the listening. Each and every song pulls your heart veins and your sleeve- reminding you that, even in the darkest of moments, there is humor, joy, and even a tiny little light somewhere off in the distance.
From the melancholy piano and grinding guitar of Geoffrey Pomeroy to the melodic, deep-rooted bass of Kirk Douglasâ¦(yes, itâs really his nameâ¦), over to the pure rock and roll mindswell of Curt Walheimâs lead guitar, back and around again to the timely, passionate heartbeat of Tommy Villa Francoâs dirty, beaten skin kit, to the lofty and lonely sounds of Timâs trumpet and back around again to Donnie Stroudâs âheart on the sleeveâ vocals spewing painful and often funny lyrics- drawn like water from the same well as Dylan Thomas, Sylvia Plath and Leonard Coen⦠PLEASE is a juggernaut. Maybe everbody doesnât get it right now, but as Tom Waits once said, âwhy does everything have to move forward, why doesnât anything go back?â In paraphrasing, and in closingâ¦PLEASE plays rock and roll like it sounded when we were kids. No tricks, no gimmicks, no forced â I canât really singâ airy over-effected vocals- no 80âs samples or stolen licksâ¦just the same stuff Mick Jagger, Van Morrison and David Bowie had to work with in the old days. Good songwriting and an artistic vision shared.

So dig out your cumbersome old headphonesâ¦
and turn it the fu*k up.

PLEASE LOVES YOU VERY MUCH AND THANKS YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
