Music for the People was recorded at Be On Sound studio, which is near Jones Beach in New York.
One of the times we recorded was on a cold January evening. At one point, very late in the night, we all decided we needed a break. We walked to the beach, which was a stone's throw away from the studio. We were hanging out, listening to the waves and looking up at the clear, moonlit sky. Just then, an amazing meteor shower lit up the sky.
We all felt we were in the exact right place, at the exact right moment, and that this was a positive omen for our CD.
We still feel the magic of that night. We hope we captured a little of the magic of lifeâs experience in our music.
