Ninth House was created in 1998 by singer/songwriter Mark Sinnis (bass & vocals) following the ten year run of his previous band, Apostates. Ninth House also features former Apostates drummer Francis Xavier on drums and Bernard San Juan (formerly of New Jersey band Black Sonny) on guitar. Known for their distinctive sound -- a unique combination of goth rock and Americana -- the band has quickly made an name for itself in the New York City club circuit and has released 2 full-length CDs. "Swim In the Silence" is the band's 2001 debut CD, which features the single "Injury Home," a Ninth House fan favorite that appeared on the TV show "ANGEL."
The band's 2005 follow-up release "The Eye That Refuses to Blink" is also available at CD Baby and through www.SINisterRecords.com.
