The New York Howl formed in the depths of NYC's downtown underground in July 2005, and already by November were booked to tour the North East Coast supporting the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. Their eclectic energetic live shows deliver raw punk energy, soulful uplifting gospel, dirty blues and garage to new wave. Their debut album, "People Will Come To See Us Ride" was self-released in August of 2006, followed immediately by a tour throughout England. They have been called "New York's best kept secret" (NME magazine), "These guys can REALLY play", (New York Press), and "Wild!" (Time Out New York).
