Traveling Music is collection of wildly differing melodies and rythms. Incorporating orchestras, synths, guitars, vocals and a variety of sampled weirdness, these pieces fit together like a disfunctional yet loving family. Ideal for film or game projects.

Details:
When asked, Jeff usually tells people that he is a drummer and a father. But in his life, he has donned many different hats. Over the last 40 years, he's been a drummer, a recording engineer, a songwriter, a composer, a producer and a computer programmer. As a musician, he studied music theory with his grandfather, Jacques Neiblum, who was a professor at the Julliard School Of Music. As a drummer, he studied with Fred Begun (tympanist for the National Symphony Orchestra), Sonny Igoe (famous jazz and session drummer - and Tommy's dad for all you drummers out there) and Bernard Purdie (one of the greatest studio drummers of all time). In New York City, Jeff played drums on radio and TV commercials, record albums, in musicals, on stage, and in many jazz, rock, R&B and calypso bands. He was also a recording engineer for 6 years, and had the great fortune to work on projects with many well known artists, advertising agencies and film and video producers. In 1983, while working at Unique Recording Studios (one of the studios involved in the development and testing of MIDI technology), Jeff had the opportunity to become one of the first people to work in the area of sampling and MIDI programming. He also wrote the music for several NYU films, two off Broadway musicals and many songs for the various bands he played with. While living in St. Thomas (United States Virgin Islands), he played drums in calypso and reggae bands and was a radio DJ on several different radio stations playing everything from rock to classical to calypso. In San Francisco, he focused on playing in blues bands but also worked with many artists, including Michael Smith and Scott Mickelson, on original music projects. Around this time, Jeff made the decision to focus on raising a family. In order to maintain reasonable hours and be there for his wife and kids, he studied computers (a love he developed while working as an engineer in NYC) and eventually became good enough to call himself a computer programmer. After he and his family decided to move to Denver, Jeff continued programming but also became involved in the local music community, playing in a variety of different bands ranging in style from jazz to bluegrass to rock. He was obsessed with the idea of fusing his music and engineering experience together with the computer skills he had developed. Multimedia production turned out to be the perfect outlet. In 2004, he graduated from Red Rocks College with a degree in Multimedia Production and created Alternate Frequency Productions, a platform where he could produce music and sound for multimedia, video and film projects. And that is where he hangs his hat these days.
