When investigating the origins of The Nemesis Theory one is forced to accept the oft-ignored multi-dimensional continuity subconsciously defining the human experience. On one hand they are a group of college educated individuals from various regions of the country who formed in Seattle circa 2003; sharing a singular desire to create music unbound by the confines of consumerist obsession.
On the other, they are four autonomous micro circuited nervous systems existing as a conjoined entity in the subspace region of quantum reality. The psionic link they posses was forged while testing experimental neuro-linguistic conditioning exercises for the secretive Dark Matter Industries. The band initially agreed to participate in the study to raise beer money.
An unintended consequence of this research was the spontaneous merging of dark energy, granting them an unconscious creative discourse wholly unprecedented in the world of modern music. The impact of this development is now being studied in great detail by underground researchers as a means to wage psychic terrorism via undetectable infiltration of the advertising and pharmaceutical industries. The band remains oblivious to the broader implications of their otherworldly communiqué and instead uses their enhanced abilities to play incendiary shows, drunkenly. They release CDâs where and when they see the necessity (they now have two full lengths: Eschatology 2004; Hypnopedia 2006).
