I was born Lidia Cynthia Ramirez Ojeda on March 16, 1989 in Salinas, Ca. I was born to Lydia Ojeda Lerma, (a single parent), along with five brothers and one sister.
Ever since I could remember, music has been a big part of my life. Growing up in a Mexican-American cultured household, I often woke up on Saturday and Sunday mornings to my mom playing and singing along to Mexican music. It wasnât too long after that I could be found running through the house singing along with her. I remember my older sister would put me to sing and dance using a brush as a microphone just so she could record me doing what I love to do. Back then I only knew that I loved music and that I loved to sing, but now music has become a big part of who I am and I canât live without it. I thank God for the talent that he has given me and for the opportunity to now make music of my own. No matter the situation or mood Iâm in, I know there is always that certain song or type of music that I can just blast and vibe to. Once I begin to sing along with it, it soothes my soul, pumps me up, and I feel I am ready for WHATEVER! Despite the struggles and obstacles that so often seem to arise. I know all obstacles can be overcome and serve as stepping stones on the path to success. As the saying goes, âWhat doesnât kill you, makes you stronger.â

Today I am a seventeen year old senior in high school. Iâm a hip-hop chick but I listen to all kinds of different music. These days near my CD player I gotta have some Bob Marley, always some 2Pac, and I canât forget the classic oldies. I am a proud Latina so I gotta bump the corridos every once in a while, but I would be nothing without soulful and talented singers that I am so greatly inspired byâ¦.from Selena and Yolanda Del Rio to Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey.
In 2005, I was asked to be part of a project now titled, "The Nataani Project". Nataani, pronounced [nah-tah-nee]. Meaning A Leader. (Navajo), best explains the project and what Iâm hoping to accomplish in the music industry.
I have been given the opportunity to work with the talented Traktwinz,(www.traktwinz.com). The Traktwinz have worked with many talented artists, such as Chris Brown and Chamillionaire!
An album is in the works and my new single titled, "Get It Hot", has been released for radio promotion recently!!!! So if you like my song and want to help support me, "Nataani", please contact your local radio stations and request Get It Hot!!!
