Southern Rockin' Biker Blues
10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Classic Rock, ROCK: Roots Rock
Details:
Natchez was born of a dream some thirty years ago. Jon Kent Meade and Stormin' Norman Atherton (Moose Atherton Jr.), besides being best friends, developed themselves musically: Norman on lead and Jon on rhythm guitar. They played in different bands but in 1995 officially formed the band Natchez. Natchez played in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area for five years, alot in the Southside Area, but later in the downtown Bricktown Area of Oklahoma City. In 2000, on New Year's Eve, while playing at a Biker Bar in South Oklahoma City, the drummer announced he was heading for California and the band broke up. In 2005 Jon Meade produced the Album Steel Horses: all original work with the help of Norman Atherton. One of the songs, "Stella" was selected by Genuine Motor Scooter Company of Chicago to sell it's version of the old Vespa Motorscooter across the USA.
