Soul-stirring and fresh songwriting in the best rock, country traditions
4 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Americana, COUNTRY: Modern Country
Details:
The music of Nathaniel Land marvels listeners as only songwriters at the top of their craft can do. Combining the best rock and americana traditions, these songs present stories of experiences that really matter - grace, redemption and love - in fresh and exciting music, reminiscent of John Mayer and Sheryl Crow.
In a brilliant self-titled debut EP now available to the public, listeners can appreciate the range of Nathaniel's soulful feel and lyrical impact. There's Avenue A, a coming of age story reminiscent of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen; Moving on Monday, a declaration of lonely heroism that echoes Lucinda Williams; Possibility, a Zeppelineque confession; and finally My Mama Told Me, an acoustic composition in the Jimmy Page and Norah Jones acoustic tradition.
Nathaniel's EP was faithfully produced and recorded by the stellar team at Galumnim Foil Productions in Williamsburg, New York City.
A resident of New York City, Nathaniel has an impressive resume of collaborations, studio and band work as a guitarist, bassist and songwriter. Since launching his solo career in 2004, Nathaniel has become an accomplished solo live performer. He can be seen regularly with his trusted D-35 Martin Guitar faithfully in hand playing to audiences in legendary venues such as the Bitter End, CBGBs and the Cutting Room.
