NorthStar's neilshanil was born and raised in Guelph, Canada. neilshanil moved to Toronto, Canada in 2000 to study Radio Broadcasting at Humber College. That is where he met Master Yoshi (a.k.a. Inov8r & Yoshdawg) and where their studio chemistry started to develop.
neilshanil realised his goals were accomplished sooner than he expected: On-air performance and On-air production. Those are the same skills that contribute to the sounds of NorthStar.
