Born and raised in Iran. His passion for music began when he was just 4. He loved to sing and play drums on any object he could find around the house. Both of Nirvan's parents were very supportive of him. He was 12 when he began performing with the local band and started touring the country. When he was 16, tragedy struck his family when his mother lost her battle with cancer. 2 years later, he lost his father as well. This tragedy had a major effect on him.
The 1979 revolution changed everything. He went to Turkey, where he was drumming with some of most popular local bands in Istanbul. "Living in Turkey for almost 3 years was something that I will never forget and someday will write a book about" he said.
In 1988 he went to Sweden and met with a local band "The House of Mumbo Jumbo", the original Swedish blues/rock band. The band then started working together and writing original materials. He came to U.S in June of 1990. Currently Nirvan resides in Irvine, California. He is a very talented drummer who has performed with many Int'l Artists and well known musicians in major US concerts and a very strong singer and songwriter. Nirvan has been working on his first original album. The album called: Ba To Bi To ("With you, Without you"). I have spent more than a year creating this album. It is very important for me to bring a new kind of music, sound and production to Persian music lovers as well as Int'l audience.
Currently working on the production of his 2nd album which is scheduled for release by the end of 2006.
