Details:
Nico de Haan is a singer/songwriter who just released a cd.
Nico was born in the Netherlands, raised in Northern Ontario, Canada, and moved to the United States during his last year of high school. During this time, he met Rick Warner, who was playing in a band called The Ethnics.
After college, Rick and Nico renewed their friendship and Nico managed Rick's solo acoustic engagements in Detroit. This is when Nico first began to play guitar.
After moving to Florida in 1975, Nico began performing (playing acoustic guitar and singing) in small clubs and bars in the West Palm Beach area.
In 1988, Rick Warner moved to Sarasota, Florida and they teamed up as The Hapnin' Dudes, doing mostly original music and comedy skits.
Working with Nico, Julian Camaz recorded the "I Love My Wheels" CD at his studio in Clearwater, Florida. He also laid down the great guitar leads, base tracks and keyboards, while assisting in the production.
Ellen took time out of her busy schedule to do the back-up vocals.
Nico & the Known "I Love My Wheels!" CD was released in September, 2005 and is for sale now at CD Baby and iTunes.
"I hope you enjoy listening to my music," says Nico.
