Meet Nina

Nina Crump is a native of Washington, D.C., and is currently a resident of Prince Georges County, Maryland. She is married to Carl, her husband of 23 years, and in his words, she is his "Proverbs 31 woman." Nina is also the mother of four â Donald, Carl III, Carrissa and Carina. Carl III and Carrissa are talented artists in their own right, and each joins Nina in a track on her CD. Additionally, the CD's title, "Nina ⦠Still Giving Him Praise," was inspired by Carina's beautiful words, whose poem of tribute to her mother can be found on the CD's jacket. Nina will tell you that her own mother, Warlene Smith, is her best friend and is her role model as a faith-filled and righteous Christian woman. Professionally, Nina has worked as a legal assistant in various corporate law firms in the Washington, D.C. area for many years, and continues to do so.

A talented vocalist for most of her life, Nina started out singing over 30 years ago with the Rosebuds Choir at Jordan Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Since 1980, Nina been a member of Free Gospel Deliverance Temple and has been a part of various Free Gospel choirs as well as a member of its dance ministry. Throughout this time, she has also been a highly sought-after soloist for various events and occasions across the Washington metropolitan area.

Over the past two years, Nina has been led by God to share her anointed voice and amazing gift of song with an even wider audience. As He laid it on her heart to fulfill His mission through a ministry of music, He also inspired and kept her encouraged throughout this faith journey â providing her with words and melodies that came to her in the middle of night, on road trips south to visit family, in the midst of the Pastor's sermon; and sometimes even through a conversation with a family member or friend. The messages in Nina's music transcend age, race, and gender, and there is something on "Still Giving Him Praise" that will speak directly to every listener's heart.

Released only four weeks ago, "Still Giving Him Praise" has sold over 400 copies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area alone.
