Nico is a musician born and raised in Sacramento, CA. He aims to create music that draws the attention of R&B and Rap listeners. His music symbolizes different moods, time zones, and situations. Nico's music targets both old and new generations. The most influential people in his life are those that have allowed him to see the good and the bad. Through the experiences of those that are close to Nico, he has learned to shape the pattern and destiny of his own life. Nico brings excellent production and a laid-back rap style. Nico wants to grow musically, with his success he feels rap music will have to grow also. Nico plans to bring longevity of great music. The target audience for Nico's production is anyone that has an open mind and appreciated music with quality, and depth. Nico relishes in the fact that his music is versatile, well rounded, and complete. The qualities that make Nico preserver is the fact that he ahs gained attention independently, has a definite hunger for the business, and believes in the power of his fans. This will soon result in the financial stability that he strives for day to day. Nico has made four complete albums, one EP, and one twenty-track demo. All of these projects have been self-financed and distributed. On the first album, 500 tapes were manufactured and 500 were sold. At Premier Records, this album broke the sales record for new artist. The second album 1000 CDs were manufactured and 1000 were sold. At Tower Records on Broadway in Sacramento, this album was number 1 on consignment for two months. The runner-up was a jazz vocalist. Nico went on to manufacture 200 copies of his EP and sold all 200 copies. Nico has generated 2200 units on his group project entitled "Situations". This is Nico's first solo project entitled "Nico Doin Tha Damn Thang". This project has generated over 10,000 sales throughout Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. Nico has also performed in over 60 shows including Tabloids, Laughs Unlimited (Old Sacramento), Thousand Man March (Sacramento), and Tupac and Biggie Tribute (Phoenix, AZ). Nico also does community shows and projects with Friday Night Live. Nico has received radio play on 103.5 (Sacramento), 102.5 (Sacramento), 101.1 (Sacramento), and an East Oakland Pirate Radio Show featuring singles "Unknown Fantasy" & "Capital Freak Show". Nico has also been published in the "Loop", a hip-hop magazine. Nico has had the opportunity to work with a variety of artist such as, Donna Silva (Parliament, Brides of Funkenstein0, Samuel Prater (ex lead singer of Club Nouveau), G. Mackey of Rotty Records (The Ghetto), and Ghetto Romeo. Nico has also done side projects such as, background work on Sisquo Thong Song (remix) video, and Jennifer Lopez's, Wedding Planner movie. Nico has recorded, mixed, and mastered over 90 songs. This includes Rap and R&B tracks for solo and group.
