Built around the context of rhythm and melody, N.C.Skolrud created riffs and beats, writings and feelings to make the material for "Chipmunk & Horse", his first album release to date. The basis of the album revolves around two very significant animals to the artist's life, and loved one's deaths. With the help of a few friends and acquantances, these songs pack the sound of a very unique and abstract sense of understanding.
"N.C.Skolrud" spent the past two years creating this album, and learned a menagerie of instruments that seek to capture every sonic nuance of each emotion portrayed. Self produced, recorded, this jack of his trade may still be a novice at some channels, yet he may well be creeping up the canals of uncharted areas we haven't yet begun to discover.
