Magic Hat Sound Recordings is excited to announce the newest release from Paul Waters and former members of "The Lindley Park" including David Spurlock, and Iain Hadgraft: "Victory Garden". "Victory Garden" observes real life with one eye and gazes at dreams with the other. One finds the eyeballs of his songs colored with ideas of love, lushness, life process, and loss and Paul does this without going cross-eyed! He instead grooves with limbering, elastic music and lyrics that whirl like petals in a breeze. Paul is joined on this album on several tracks by former bandmates Iain Hadgraft, (Lead Guitar) and David Spurlock (Bass and Lead Vocals). This has been slated as the last collaboration between the three! Paul has relocated with Magic Hat outside of Philadelphia due to recent commercial work with Hershey. Paul has licensed a song of his for Hershey's new candy bar, "Take 5" and also sang for the commercial now running across the United States and Canada!
Paul's music, ever changing, seeks to soothe the palate of truth finding the reality of the human experience. Walking through "Victory Garden" with Paul pushes all the daisies to make room for roses.
