alternative mellow rock
4 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, ROCK: Classic Rock
Details:
This band consists of 3 friends who love music, and decided to see where it would take them. All of the songs are original, and were written in the singers dining room.
It's hard to describe our style, kind of Alternative with a Jazzy, Rockabilly twist.
Our drummer is Dave, he is also a Police officer. He learned to play on an old Tama kit in a rented storage unit after he got off duty.
Our Singer/Guitar player started out playing classical piano and Oboe. He caused quite a stir when he sold his Oboe to buy a guitar!
Our bass player was going to be the guitar player, but since we could not find a bassist, he volunteered to switch.
We came up with our name in the same bar that we wrote a song called Barfly in, and later found out it was the name of medieval french healer, Yves Phlem. I guess his story is that he was so good, he made the King's doctors look bad, so he was arrested for practicing without a license!
I really hope you like our music, but if you don't, I would still like to hear from you.
Thanks,
Frank the bass player.
