A psalmist in the true sense of the word, Phillip Ferrell II has been making music for most of his life both vocally and as a keyboardist. Displaying inherent musical abilities as early as age 4, Phillip received grassroots training through his family's church affiliation where his father functioned as soloist & choir director, and later became a minister, and finally a pastor. As a participant in several choirs and ensembles, Phillip continued to perfect his singing and songwriting talents throughout adolescence. He began professional training at the age of 12, first studying classical music and ultimately jazz. Eventually Phillip became as fascinated with the technical aspect of creating music as he had been performing it. Consequently, he enrolled in a joint program with Long Beach City College and Long Beach State's Music Program to pursue a degree in Music Production and Engineering.

Since then, Phillip has had many notable accomplishments:

* He is an executive board member of Musicians 4 Christ Inc., an organization that seeks to promote and provide platforms for talented Christian artists.
* He serves as Praise and Worship Leader for the IMPACT MOVEMENT, a subsidiary international organization of Campus Crusade for Christ.
* He serves as Praise and Worship Leader for the National Football League's Annual Kingdom Retreat in Orlando, FL.
* He is the founder of The HEAT, an alliance of Christian artists, musicians, and songwriters whose sole purpose is providing excellence in ministry and self-empowerment.
* He has led audiences of up to 42,000 people as Worship Leader in meetings, conferences, and services all over North America.
* He has become an accomplished songwriter, composing original music as well as unique and distinct arrangements for musicians and vocalists alike.

A worship leader, musician, technician, and clinician well sought after, Phillip has served in countless conferences, workshops, and programs across the continent, Caribbean and in Europe. Phillip's desire is to see people saved, delivered and healed through the word of God in praise and worship.

Currently Phillip serves as Assistant Worship Pastor and Director of Media at Shiloh Christian Fellowship in Oakland, CA. He is an instructor at San Francisco State University, teaching songwriting and music production. He also is the owner of The Furnace, a production suite honing and crafting up and coming artists from all over the country.
