PERSEPHONE is a band formed around a woman... named Persephone. She's a Nebraska girl transplanted to the Land of Enchantment. Obviously really sappy at heart; a sentimental fool, really. She says she's inspired by her husband and kids (how cliché but utterly true), but it goes beyond that, into the past.

We had a blast makinâ this CD! The four characters who make up this band had a good time together (not to mention all the others that added so many cool moments) FOR A YEAR AND A HALF! We're lookin' forward to opportunities to promote this stuff (and the unrecorded new stuff) in live performance.

The stuff we (mostly Persephone) write is totally narcissistic anger management and itâs almost embarrassing to put it out in the world when what we really love is just to play our hearts out. Persephone's been pretending to be a rock star since lip-synching to ABBA when she was 8. Of course, she no longer feels cool sporting the metallic baby blue cream eye shadow (but she's considered finding a white satin jumpsuit).
